Tamiya has announced the upcoming release of the brand-new Mini 4WD “Raizzan,” featuring the all-new ME chassis. Product No. 18663, scheduled for release at the end of October 2025.

In addition to the MS and MA chassis, Tamiya is excited to unveil the third double-shaft motor chassis in the Mini 4WD PRO series—the ME chassis. The name “ME” comes from Midship, Evolution, Easy, and Enjoy. It inherits the easy-to-assemble concept of the MA chassis, while reducing weight through ergonomic design.

The Raizzan body is designed by Japanese designer Kota Nezu (znug design), who also designed the 18634 Astralster (MS), 18640 Raikiri (MA), and 18100 Eleglitter (VZ). The Raizzan body uses a monocoque frame with detachable panels, inspired by high-end sports cars.

“Raizzan” is written in Chinese as 雷斬, similar to “Raikiri” (雷切), and its name is derived from a legendary Japanese sword in mythology. This kit is a true design masterpiece—so striking that it could easily be mistaken for a real car—unlocking new possibilities for the world of Mini 4WD.
