Back in May, Yokomo teased the comeback of the legendary 1/10 scale 4WD off-road buggy “Wonder Dog Fighter,” originally released in 1986. Yesterday, the company officially announced the re-release of the Wonder Dog Fighter 1/10 Electric Buggy—marking the fourth Dog Fighter reissue from the Japanese manufacturer.

In 1985, Gil Losi Jr. drove the Dog Fighter “YZ-834B WINNING Model” to victory at the first-ever IFMAR World Championship, securing its place in RC racing history. Now, 40 years later, Yokomo brings back the Wonder Dog Fighter—a faithful replica of Losi Jr.’s championship-winning machine.

Built on the concept of upgrading the original YZ-834B to full race specifications, the Wonder Dog Fighter reissue comes with significant improvements, including:

- Dual-shock rear dampers
- Reinforced ribs in the main chassis for increased rigidity
- A redesigned body for enhanced downforce and grip
- Compact, competition-spec bumpers
- Lightweight, high-rigidity suspension arms
- Torque limiter for controlled front-wheel drive

This semi-assembled buggy lets modern enthusiasts relive the world-conquering performance of the 1980s.
