LOSI SUPER LASERNUT AT KOH LAND

Like most people, Cody Waggoner has big dreams and understands firsthand that old fashioned hard work can transform dreams into reality—a journey he personally experienced. As the owner of Lasernut, the largest job shop metal cutting enterprise in Southern California, Cody uses fiber laser cutting, bending and forming, as well as automated welding technologies to manufacture parts for diverse clientele, with a particular affinity for the off-road industry.

An inherent gearhead, Cody rode ATCs as a kid but found his passion for extreme off-roading during high school when a friend convinced him to trade his Toyota pickup for a 1971 Jeep CJ-5. After making some modifications, Cody conquered the renowned 4×4 trail, Sledge Hammer, in Johnson Valley, CA. This ignited his fervor, leading to numerous rock crawling competitions alongside his father as his spotter.

When King of the Hammers debuted in the early 2000s, Cody was initially hesitant. He eventually succumbed, making his debut in 2014 and clinching a Top 20 finish, followed by a Top 10 placement the following year. Crafting the Lasernut U4, tailored to his driving style, marked a pivotal moment for Cody. Distinguished by its sleek design and suspension that can be adjusted on the fly, the U4 stands as one of the most advanced Ultra4 cars in circulation.

Drawing inspiration from Cody’s innovation, the Super Lasernut 4WD by Losi promises an unparalleled fusion of performance and authenticity, beckoning enthusiasts to embrace the thrill of U4 style racing. With an independent suspension based on the ROAR-winning TLR 8IGHT and officially licensed scale details from Cody Waggoner’s full-size Lasernut U4 race car, the Super Lasernut makes no compromises — and it’s Losi’s most affordable large scale buggy.
