After making some modifications, Cody conquered the renowned 4&#215;4 trail, Sledge Hammer, in Johnson Valley, CA. This ignited his fervor, leading to numerous rock crawling competitions alongside his father as his spotter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When King of the Hammers debuted in the early 2000s, Cody was initially hesitant. He eventually succumbed, making his debut in 2014 and clinching a Top 20 finish, followed by a Top 10 placement the following year.
